"Review by a family carer"

Our adult daughter, who has learning difficulties, has been at this surgery since childhood. GPs and nurses have always been very supportive with her care and suggestions to support her. She has regular annual reviews by a specialist nurse who works hard to respond to any query proactively as quickly as possible. We really appreciate the named specialist nurse and GP Scheme available at this surgery as consistency really helps our daughter. The medical secretaries also work quickly to support queries, thank you. Getting an appointment is not a problem but it does help, as a carer/patient, to provide accurate information when phoning.

I appreciate being able to use IT and email about important queries which get responded to quickly.

I wanted to send special thanks for the recent quick turn-around of a letter for our daughter to support information for a benefit assessment. The benefit assessor said this had been helpful in supporting our daughters information and therefore claim. Thank you to our GP, medical secretary and nurse specialist in responding so quickly as it really helped to reduce a stressful situation.

For our family in general we have found the GPs are all professional and knowledgeable, we appreciate the on line system for appointments and repeat prescriptions. I have not had an issue getting a suitable appointment time and find the triage system very useful as can often sort an issue over the phone.
