"Abrupt and dismissive"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Community Services / Children and Adolescents Mental Health Service

(as a parent/guardian),

I have just rang this service regarding my Aspergers son who has very low mood and feeling suicidal. I didn't catch the person's name on the phone but I found them to be very abrupt and dismissive. Very different experience from the previous week when I had someone who listened to what I was saying, not cut me off or be dismissive by saying that it's not their department. I work for the NHS myself I would never speak like that to someone on the phone, especially when the caller is upset (crying) on the phone.
