"AVOID AVOID. I DO NOT recommend this hospital!!!!"

My mum was booked in for surgery twice at the Stepney Green hospital for fibroid treatment. And on both occasions she was cancelled on.

The first time around the consultant/surgeon had to attend a solicitors appointment and did not even have the courtesy to notify us that mums surgery was cancelled! We found out via the pre assessment check!

The 2nd time my mum was rebooked for surgery you made her wait over 3hrs in her hospital gown, she was prepped for surgery only to be told the surgeon is “at another emergency at another hospital” and then you tell us that she was not even on the consultants sugery list!

Never setting foot in any of your hospitals!

NHS patients are treated differently to private patients. I’m sure if my mum was a private paying patient she would have been treated very differently! They don’t even have a complaints department! Hence why their client services is absolutely atrocious.

Avoid this hospital! You really are better off going to an NHS hospital.
