About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

I just want to leave a little feedback following my elderly father's recent stay at Treliske initially in the Acute Medical Unit and subsequently in the Gastroenterology ward.

My father was extremely ill with pneumonia and sepsis and the prognosis was very poor. However, with the excellent care that he received he is progressing well and rehabilitating at Stratton Community Hospital.

All the staff we dealt with at Treliske were absolutely first class and incredibly caring to my father. Top work, you should all be very proud of yourselves!

My name is Laura and I work as a Ward Clerk on the Acute Medical Unit. Thank you so much for your lovely feedback about the service that we provided to your father - we are glad to hear that he is recovering well.

Following the feedback that you have given for our team, I have shared your story by putting it on our notice board in the staff room and also our Ward Sister will be reading it in our morning briefing so that all staff have heard it. It is always nice to received positive feedback as it boosts morale.
