"Excellent treatment"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Dermatology (Skin Conditions)

(as the patient),

Was in ward 2 a dermatology ward for nearly 4 weeks, whilst receiving treatment for my psoriasis it was discovered after an x day that I had fractured my pelvis. The treatment I received was excellent and I must mention the occupational therapist for her help. The only negative was the food. I am celiac and lactose intolerant and the choice of food was very limited. I feel that more thought could be put into menu choices

Dear Whiteford,

Thank you for taking the time to post about your experience. I am delighted to hear that you felt the treatment you received was excellent.

New patient menus were launched in April 2018 as a result of extensive patient feedback. A range of alternative menus for those with dietary requirements are available however, I am sorry to hear that you feel the choice of food available to you was very limited.

I will ensure that your feedback is passed to Facilities and Property Management for consideration.

Kind regards

Julie
