"See quickly, and refered on to A&E pathway at TW"

About: Sevenoaks Hospital

Took my lad down to Sevenoaks Minor Injuries following a bike accident, as he had some pain. Examined within 30 minutes by the nurse, who referred us on to A&E at Pembury as potentially time critical injury and she wanted him seen by Specialist for definitive result. Equally good care at TW where he underwent surgery within a couple of hours. So seen quickly, nurse engaged really well with my son to find out what was wrong and made the right decision applying caution and sending to A&E. Couldn’t ask for more.

Hello

Many thanks for reviewing the care your son received at Sevenoaks Minor Injuries Unit following his recent accident. It is good to know that he was seen promptly by the nurse and quickly referred to A&E at Pembury, where he also received excellent care and treatment. We will share your kind feedback with the team at the unit and we hope that your son is now recovering well following his surgery.

Best wishes
