About: Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre

I was admitted to Barlborough Treatment Centre for a total left hip replacement in January 2019 and cannot recommend it highly enough. Everyone of the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The care I got was second to none and couldn’t have been bettered in a private hospital.

I was put at my ease from the moment I walked through the doors and this continued until I was discharged 2 days later. I’m now recuperating at home and trying to do everything I should.

I need a knee replacement too and would have no hesitation in going to Barlborough in the future. Great that this facility is only 20 mins from my home, but I would have travelled a lot further for this level of treatment. Thanks Barlborough for making what could have been a very scary operation into a very positive experience. Well done to the team.
