I would like to thank you all the staff at Furness General hospital for their excellent care during all my treatment at the hospital. The consultant gave me very clear details of my condition and what would have to be done. My wife and I were always treated with the utmost respect and always in great confidence. All appointments were carried out in good time, and there was no delay in any of my treatment. As well as the team involved in my surgery who I do not know, but I am extremely grateful to them, there was the staff on PPU, ward 5, SEAC as well as the staff that we contact by phone, everyone answered question, gave us time and offered excellent care, we could not have asked for more.
We are extremely grateful and very pleased with all the hospital has done for both of us during what has been for us an extremely distressing time.
I would also like to add that I feel the whole NHS worked very well, from the first visit to the nurse at the surgery on the 26th November, to the GP two days later, to the first visit to the hospital clinic on the 11th December, followed by test and treatment, to my operation on the 20th January, and extremely good news on 1st February, all this in just 9 weeks, (This included Christmas and New Year) is very good service. Thank you to everyone involved.
