I was a surgical patient on the ward for 2 days. I had a hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo oopherectomy for premenstrual dysphoric disorder PMDD.
I was very nervous but the staff were all wonderful from the time I arrived to my discharge. The process was very efficient and the advice I was given by the gynaecologist and especially the anaesthetist was brilliant. They both did a great job and I am very grateful to them.
The nurses and other staff on the ward were all very kind, compassionate and caring. They listened to any queries or concerns I had and talked me through them. My stay on the ward was a very positive experience.
"Kind, compassionate and caring."
