"Oral Surgery experience"

I had a biopsy for Lichen Planus in the Day Surgery Unit yesterday.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. My surgeon was excellent.

She took her time to explain the procedure to me and asked if I had any questions.

In theatre she again explained what she was doing and she and her colleagues were concerned about my welfare and well being all the time.

Although my problem was on the "gum line "and therefore tricky to suture the surgeon sorted it out very quickly.

To be honest I was more relaxed in theatre than I had been in the waiting room!!!

Since I have been home I have only taken one lot of pain killers and have not needed any others.

Also there is very little if any swelling at the site of the procedure.

Please give my grateful thanks the surgeon and all the staff who looked after me so well.
