"Accident treatment"

About: Buckland Hospital

Thursday 31st January 2019 I stabbed myself with a sharp chisel and blood went everywhere. My daughter drove me to Buckland Hospital minor injuries unit.

I was treated within 2 minutes and out again, superglued and sticky taped, home again in a total of about 15 minutes.

I apologise to all the other patients waiting to be seen but I must say that I was treated very well and would like to thank the staff members who attended to me.

I also went back about 2 hours later as the wound was swelling but again, having explained to the receptionist what the problem was the same nurse came out to see me in the reception area and gave advice on the issue within about 5 minutes.

Thank you.
