"I knew I was in safe hands"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as a service user),

I attended Wishaw Hospital  for surgery. On arrival I was cared for by the Day Surgery team who were attentive and professional. The Consultant and Surgeon, Dr Elsapagh, was simply amazing. I was terrified although I managed to remain calm as Dr Elsapagh spoke with clarity and explained everything, including risks, to me in a way that I knew I was in safe hands. I can not express my gratitude enough to him and his team. I was then admitted to Ward 13, again the staff there treated me so well (the nurses were rushed off their feet).
