"Excellent care Ward 103"

Following my recent hospital admission to ward 103 ARI albeit a longer stay than expected!! I would just like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to Sister Elaine and her wonderful team. From the nurses, auxiliary’s and domestics you are so dedicated to your role. This is an extremely busy and sometimes challenging ward yet you all carried out your duties with the highest standards to ensure patient centred care was first and foremost. I was treated with dignity and humanity and my care was excellent. I would like to say a special thank you to Claire who helped me get through the bad times and allowed me to squeeze her hands so tight during a procedure even through gritted teeth she kept smiling.

Secondly I would like to say a huge thank you to Dr Carter who I believe went above and beyond to get me better. He was open and honest about my treatment and kept me well informed but more importantly he listened, and for me as a patient that was so important. There are no words except Ward 103 you are a credit to NHSG and thank you 🙏
