"Caring and kind at all times"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5)

(as a relative),

I am writing to thank all the staff in ward 7 University Hospital Hairmyres who cared and treated my father, who suffers from Dementia, following his admission.

All the nurses, doctors, physiotherapist, occupational therapists , speech and language therapist, phlebotomists and domestic staff on the ward were not only professional but caring and kind at all times and his care was excellent.

Everyone within the team should be commend for their professionalism and high standard of care.

I realise in today's climate this can often be taken for granted, however even with the day to day pressures the standard of care received was of the highest.
