"Rude and unhelpful"

About: Lower Clapton Group Practice

(as the patient),

Constant problems with my repeat prescription being ordered and when I seek help at the reception desk the staff attitude is at times really bad, they seem like they can't be bothered and their knowledge is sometimes poor e. g. tell me they can't do something when it has been fine with previous reception staff.

The receptionist I dealt with didn't have a clue, so they asked one of their colleagues to help me, however they were very busy and I was left waiting. In the end, I had to leave before I got the problem sorted out. Very frustrating having the same issues again and again, each time I get it sorted but then something goes wrong and I am back to square one.

We do apologise that you are experiencing these issues at the reception desk. Our reception team are trained to help and support patients through the GP service and if that has not happened on this occasion, we are sorry.

The practice does have a reception lead, who is available to speak to patients that are experiencing any difficulties with any part of the reception service and I would advise that should you encounter any further problems, that you ask to speak with the reception lead, who can help guide you through the service and solve any issues. It would be beneficial if you remember who you spoke with at reception so that we can provide support and training to any members of the reception team who need it.

Please do come in and speak with the reception lead should you wish to discuss this further.
