"Emergency admission"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Accident and emergency Pilgrim Hospital / Cardiology

(as a service user),

I was admitted through A@E with chest pains. I was quickly seen by nurses and then a doctor. I was reassured at all times. After several tests I was taken to an assessment ward and later transferred to the Acute Cardiac Unit. The staff put me at ease at all times with their professional and friendly approach. After more tests and treatment I was discharged with a positive outcome.

Dear Hills

Thank you for your comments, I will pass these on to all of the staff on ACU and Assessment Ward.

It is good to hear that we are getting it right and that you found the care to be second to none. The staff all work very hard to provide high quality, safe care to all of our patients and it is good for morale to receive positive feedback such as this.

Regards,

Sharon
