"my arm operation"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Trauma and Orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I received an operation for internal fixation and bone graft following a skiing accident break to the top of my right humerus. I feel compelled to write as the overall experience was excellent, thank you. In check-in, screening tests, operation preparation, anaesthesia,  recovery and post-operation 24 hours in ward 220 - every member of staff was kind, considerate, helpful, professional, thorough and clear. Everyone showed a clear pride in their work which was a privilege to experience - thank you.

The room was excellent and spotless and the food was very good.

Thank you to everyone involved from Mr. Robinson down to the technician removing dust from the A/C outlets.

Dear Tap,

Thank you vey much for sharing your feedback with us following your arm operation after your skiing accident.

I was so pleased to read that your care was excellent and how Mr Robinson and all the staff in ward 220 cared for you. I have shared your feedback with the team, who l am sure will be delighted with your kind words.

I do hope you are recovering well and that this has not put you off another ski holiday.

Kind regards
