St. James' Surgery has always provided an excellent service. (Always opens on time (usually a few minutes before in extremely cold weather)

From the Receptionists to the Nurses, Matron and the GP's.

Always polite, ready to listen and solve any problems I may have.

If a referral is needed, it is always handled in a very prompt fashion.

When phoning the Surgery, you are navigated through a very easy system to get to the person you wish to speak to.

There are, on occasions where The Receptionists may feel that a

GP appointment is not necessary, but they will liaise with the Matron who will suggest an appointment to see her or one of the Nursing team. (usually on the same day) who in turn, will liaise with your GP if they feel it necessary.

If a member of staff says they will ring you back, they always do, usually within an hour.

My GP is always kind and polite.

Always ready with the best and up to date advice. and will always handle referrals to, say, Physio, Mental Health etc, in a very prompt manner. Usually, hear from respective parties within 7-10 working day..

I wish I could give my GP a higher than 5* rating, cause my

GP is absolutely fantastic.

Not only has my GP looked after me, but also my entire family over the years, steering me through breast cancer, dementia and the "end of life chat" with regard to close family and obtaining the best possible care for them.

When people I speak to ask which Surgery I go to, they are always saying "your're so lucky, you have the best Surgery in Clacton" and I agree 100%.

Remember folks ~ if we ring the Surgery, yes we may be frustrated as we or our loved ones are ill, but there is no need to be rude to any member of staff.

They are just doing a very hard job..

They are only human after all!
