About: Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

After fracturing my neck in May I received the most excellent care and support from the Consultants and Support Staff in the Trauma Team, Xray Unit, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Departments.

All staff on every level were warm, welcoming, extremely helpful and caring during my initial 3 week stay and also in the 6 months of my recovery during visits to the Outpatient Department.

An extremely well organised and caring environment which put me at ease and gave me great confidence in their outstanding level of care.

It's such a pleasure to know that alongside providing excellent clinical care, our staff also show kindness and warmth when dealing with our patients day after day.

We're delighted to be able to pass this on to the Major Trauma team, Radiology (xray) and the Therapies teams (OT and physio).
