"Overnight stay after surgery"

I had a four and a half hour operation I was really nervous for this week, which required an overnight stay. As soon as I arrived I felt welcomed and calm. The receptionist was quick to put me at ease, as were the staff on the ward as I was settling in before my operation. My room was lovely. I had a beautiful, calming view of the countryside. Everybody was so kind to me. I passed out in the night, fortunately caught by the nurse who was with me so I didn’t injure myself. Staff were amazing and so caring, quick to help me feel better. The catering staff were lovely too and the food was great. Surgery went well and the surgeon and anaesthetist were both just amazing. The nurse who walked me down to theatre was chatty, which really helped me to feel at ease. When I needed to press my buzzer in the night, a nurse would always be with me within seconds to help. I can thoroughly recommend this hospital and can only thank them for the wonderful care they gave to me.
