For almost three years (since my first cataract operation) I have not been able to pursue the love of my life, painting, nor can I read a book or enjoy cooking for fear of slicing my fingers.
I was not told I would not be able to see to do my work as a freelance artist.
Also one of my eyes is disfigured and I have macular oedema.
What more could I want.
Although most of the staff are lovely, one female commedian remarked "how do we know what you used to look like?"
Another female consultant insisted that there wasn't anything wrong with my right eye and when I pointed out that I was there regarding my left eye it made no difference. There has been very little continuity in my treatment, I have been told so many different things which have not been followed up and have seen so many different people.
My left eye permanently feels swollen and uncomfortable to the extent that is making me feel very depressed.
I now attend the clinic every one or two months and God knows when I will ever feel normal again.
I was in excellent health and had enjoyed almost perfect vision until I attended Arrowe Park Eye Clinic.
"I regret having chosen Arrowe Park Eye Clinic"
