Peter and Linda were brilliant. Peter the radiologist talked me through everything, How he was putting contrast dye in, what I’d feel, and even helped me to sit up. I felt really looked after. Linda was lovely very calming, helpful and removed my cannula after the scan, total pro. I suffer with bad anxiety and having staff like that made the whole experience a lot less stressful.

Many thanks for taking the time to pass on your experience while in the Radiology department at University Hospital Hairmyres.

I am delighted that you were made to feel at ease throughout the examination and that you felt staff took the time to ensure you fully understood the procedure, were calming and able to reassure you. Staff always appreciate some recognition for the patient care that they deliver on a daily basis and I will ensure that your kind thoughts are passed to Peter and Linda.


I sincerely hope that you have the same positive patient centred care should you attend University Hospital Hairmyres at any time in the future.
