"An utter disgrace. urgent ambulance patients..."

My mum was rushed into lister after collapsing at 7pm she was left in a corridor. Finally seen by a nice doctor at 3am. However the process is broken. Non sensical process. un organised rude and stress staff lots of nurses, hardly any doctors... poor ambulance staff at their wits end standing in corridors with patients.

Heard many nurses call it unsafe

In the A & E majors department patients were moved in and out of cubicles then back out in the corridor.

Patients weren’t seen on seriousness they were seen by nurses in time order.

Notes left laying around and lost.

The most scary terrifying experience..

literally an accident waiting to happen...

. If patients didn’t have a family member with them trying to find out what was going on then I dread to think what happens to them.

I was given a phone number to get updates and most of the time the call wasn’t answered (fair enough they are busy) when it was answered I was given incorrect information.

What a distressing a & e unit not enough staff space beds. By far the worst hospital I’ve ever been too. Very sad to see.

Patients left with no dignity. Discarded in corridors.

Really hope this review helps the department get some improvements
