"Outstanding care"

About: Kettering General Hospital

Arrived with my elderly mother at A&E on the morning of 9th January following a fall. The care and support of one Consultant in particular, should be singled out in this department. After this she was admitted to Barnwell B ward bay 3 at 2.00am on 10th January and was discharged at 7.00pm that evening. We would like to thank all nurses, doctors, auxiliaries, physiotherapists and other staff for their care, kindness, sensitivity and good humour.

So many are happy to criticise the NHS but in our experience the care on the ward was exceptional.
