"Happy with assessment"

I was referred urgently from my GP to see a physicatrist at Cornhill Hospital. I have been suffering from bad depression and anxiety for some time and needed urgent help. 

Marion one of the secretary’s called me on the Tuesday to ask if I could attend an appointment on the Wednesday, she was so professional, gave me all the details, where the appointment would be held and even called on the morning of the appointment to make sure I got her voicemail the day before. I think Marion is a great Secretary, very efficient and has a lovely phone manner.

On arrival to the hospital I was very anxious about my appointment, but the staff made me feel at ease, staff walking through the corridors were pleasant and said hello as my mum and I passed by.

I was seen by Dr Forbes who I could not fault, a very pleasant doctor, very reassuring, very approachable, a great listener and put me at ease as soon as he started speaking. My assessment lasted an hour which was one to one, but after the assessment he allowed my mum to come through and explained to my mum what the outcome of our assessment was, our plans for on going treatment. He also asked my mum if she had any questions, which he did and he answered them very professionally and helpful. 

I am very happy with my assessment at Cornhill Hospital today, and the way my appointment was dealt was from the phone call right the way through to the assessment itself
