"Ward 304 Excellent Care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Geriatric Assessment

(as a relative),

My father was taken into hospital and has been in Ward 304 (male geriatric) for about 10 days.

The care he has received from all the staff in particular the nurses has been 1st class. All the nurses work hard and have a great sense of humour whilst working in the ward under difficult circumstances as they are dealing with elderly patients. My father has been made to feel welcome and has had everything he needs catered for. He has enjoyed the food, can't believe how much he has eaten as a result he is on the road to recovery.

Thank you so much from all my family for the care that has been given to my dad.

Dear Thefin

Many thanks for taking the time to share your experience whilst your father was an inpatient in ward 304 recently.

I delighted that he is on the road to recovery and that the care your father received met his needs. We always aim to deliver person centered care and I'm delighted to hear that the nurses delivered 1st class care to him along with a bit of humour.

With best wished to you and your father.

Marry Christmas

Fiona Robertson

Chief Nurse
