"Transplant"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France

(as the patient),

The staff at ward 215 and 206 at RIE are amazing they all looked after me so well. In 215 Julia and Tammy (I think) especially! And 206 Ciara and Amelia! They were all great but those 4 in particular! I was very vulnerable and they treated me with great diginity especially as I was only 19 and my liver failure and transplantation all happened within 4 weeks. Thank you all so much again you are a credit to the NHS along with all the doctors too, Dr Blair, Mr Currie, Dr MacGilchrist, Dr Hansi (don’t think she’s here now).

Dear KW0606

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us via Care Opinion, following your liver failure and transplantation. I was so pleased to read how all the staff treated you with such dignity when you were feeling so vulnerable. I can only imagine this must have been a very difficult and anxious time, especially as things happened so quickly.

I have shared your feedback with the team and l sure that they will be delighted with your kind words.

I do hope you are recovering well from your transplant.

Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2019.

Kind regards

Jeannette
