"Accident & Emergency Dept"

Attended accident & emergency department with my father today after a fall he had damaged his wrist . We attended at 10 am on a Saturday morning as an x Ray was required we had previously tried the walk in centre but they don’t x ray on a Saturday . The waiting time on the board was 7 hrs 30 mins !!! However my father was seen x rayed and a cast put on his broken wrist in 4 hrs 30 and we were on our way home. The department was very very busy all the staff are doing their very best with the resources available . Thank you to all the staff .
