"So frustrated!"

Posting here as a last resort as I’m so frustrated and run out of other avenues.

I have a painful wisdom tooth which needs taking out and had a pre-op assessment in June. I was told Emerson’s Green pride themselves in their short waiting times and that I could have the surgery soon. All went fine at the pre-op and we got free tea and coffee to compensate for a pretty long wait, but then... nothing!

Weeks and months went by and I heard nothing about when the surgery would be. I knew the nhs was under pressure, so I left it a few months. Eventually I contacted care UK through the customer helpline. I got a message a few days later telling me I had not attended the surgery because although it had been scheduled, I had not been sent the letter. The caller told me that she would be re-booking the surgery to January and that I would be getting a letter shortly.

Several weeks on and no letter... plus no date or time or anything! I re-emailed Emerson’s Green to let them know but got no response. So once again I’m not going to turn up and the time of the surgeon and all the team will be wasted.

Can’t be right! Meanwhile i’m managing the pain with painkillers, obsessive dental hygiene and a lot of frustration.

Please help!
