We were made to feel very relaxed and comfortable from staff who checked details as you came in to every other .member of staff. The nursing staff could not have been more caring and supportive. We were kept aware of what was happening. My son was put at his ease. Anaesthetic staff were fabulous with him. Reassured me when I had to leave him. Staff chatted with you while he was in recovery but still giving him their full attention.
The Doctor who had operated checked on him 3 times and gave me full information.
The nurse who spoke to us in the morning had ensured their was brown bread for his toast . The nurse who made it ensured it was made the way he has it made. This is very important to a child with ASD.
A higher level of care could not have been given.
