"Midwife’s need professional training specially..."

The Midwife’s need training and understand the meaning of professional boundaries. My midwife harassed me with mental health services and referred me to social

Services too. She believed I will be sucidal because I’m anxious and have a stressful life. Well I’m anxious because I was pregnant for the first time and scared and stressed because all this was new to me. I’m a solicitor by profession and haven’t completed my training due to pregnancy, but this is too much. The Midwife’s at this centre is a nightmare!

They actually do offer you to speak to someone and keep saying it’s okay speak to us and then they ask you if your in danger call 999. But I all I wanted is mental support not to ask me questions why I’m anxious about my pregnancy and to believe that I might harm my baby. I hope these Midwife’s get their own taste of medicine!

I was unable to enjoy my pregnancy. After accusing me of being sucidal and dealing with all these other social services etc lastly they started accusing and suspecting my relationship with my partner, which led a beautiful relationship to a miserable one, why are you doing all this to young first time mothers? We just need someone we can talk to!

This happened to me few months ago but has left me so traumatised.

You’re lucky I didn’t make a complain or sue you and that’s only because it was too much to take in for me.

please don’t give us first time mums that sympathy and connection that we can speak to you when we actually can’t. It’s normal to be anxious for a first time mother and being scared.

I was worried that I can’t eat anything and ended up eating junk food as the only food and the midwife thought I have a eating disorder too.
