I’ve had three visits to the ED clinic in Eurology since having my prostate removed in March 2017. I had been prescribed a penis pump by the clinic in Grantham which is now closed. I decided it was time to move on from the pump to a medical solution. My first visit resulted in a prescription for alprostadil, my second visit doubled the strength of my prescription. There are supply problems for alprostadil, with no date for resumption of supply. I needed an alternative and knew that the same medication is also supplied as an injection, something I’d hoped to avoid. I turned up not knowing how the consultation would progress other than a demonstration of how to mix the medication. The nurse explained that she would have to watch me inject myself before she could prescribe the medicine (the injection is painless). This could have been embarrassing, but thanks to the friendly professionalism of the nurse, it wasn’t. I would recommend this clinic to anyone with erectile dysfunction, don’t suffer in silence, your problem can be treated.
