"Great experience of help"

About: Ninewells Hospital

(as a relative),

My mother-in-law was admitted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee this week- but she had told us the wrong ward and we couldn't get hold of her on the mobile. 

The two guys on main reception between 5.30 and 6 couldn't have been more helpful.  She wasn't showing up on the system so they were able to help me locate the correct ward she was being admitted to and I got there in time to be able to assist with the admission and meet the doctors.

It seems a small thing but without them I wouldn't have been able to find her as she wasn't able to use her mobile.

We appreciate that when coming into hospital, whether as a patient or visitor, it can be a difficult time and the staff aim to provide as much assistance as they can. It is always nice to hear when someone has had a positive experience with our services. I have shared your feedback with the staff concerned, who recalled this and advised that they were happy to help and were pleased that they were able to find your mother-in-law for you.
