"Endoscopy (temporary overnight ward)"

I got a bed on endoscopy unit while having surgery at Worcester Royal Hospital as there were no beds available in the surgical unit. I was there for 4 days and the staff were amazing

These ladies are under so much pressure-patients being dumped there from every department (and it’s not a ward originally intended to be an overnight ward)

Despite these incredibly challenging circumstances, these three ladies (and the entire team on this ward) did an incredible job looking after me before and after my abscess surgery. It is a terrible situation that Worcester Royal Hospital is in with these bed shortages and I hope they can build more wards, get more beds and hire more staff to help out these incredible women who work here. You have amazing staff-please help them out. They’re under so much pressure.
