"Bad organisation, interfering receptionists"

About: Highbridge Medical Centre

The medical center is a mess. They're so unorganized, and badly managed. They don't even realise that their doctors haven't turned up for work! Time and time again locums fail to show up, and paitents don't get informed. Just left waiting.

The receptionists interfere with our health care without informing us of what they're doing and why until we ask what was going on. By the time we find out, it's too late. A nurse is not capable of dealing with everything, they're not trained on everything yet these receptionists decide that it is OK to force people with complex conditions that are only dealt with by a GP, into seeing a nurse who has already failed to deal with the issue and wrongly prescribed medication that will cause issues.

They moved one person from a Doctor to a nurse they had previously seen who said they cannot deal with it you need to see a doctor. Why not just let them see the doctor they were booked in to see? Such a waste of a nurses appointment and delaying that person's health care.

I needed to see a specific doctor, I was requested to see them specifically in writing urgently but they put me in with someone else, told me it was the specific one. I turned up and this doctor was nice but had no idea what to do, as she wasn't the one who wanted to see me! Then when I asked again to see the specific doctor, I was told no the issues been dealt with. UH No!

Some of the notes they make when booking appointments are quite rude. I read through mine on the paitence access and they were describing me in a rude manner which was far from the truth and the reason I need to see the doctor put down was incorrect.

There is rarely more than 1 receptionist on at the desk so the queues for reception get really long. They need more receptionists, they need training on how to stop interfering, reminding they're not a doctor and to somehow find doctors who do turn up to work.
