"Awful"

About: Evington Medical Centre (C Kumar)

If you enjoy being patronised by reception and healthcare staff, then register here! The doctors seem generally adequate, although the practice is heavily dependent on locums, and there is no continuity of care. I had to report a serious mistake on my medical records which took ages to sort out (a locum had recorded that I suffered from a medical condition I didn’t have.)

The front desk and healthcare staff treat you like an idiot, and I’ve been reduced to tears by the way they’ve spoken to me. And, I’m not your ‘dear’ or ‘love’ when I go in for a blood test. The awfulness of the experience here, the lack of access and absence of care leads us to use walk-in and healthcare hubs, where you are at least treated with a professional neutrality.

I am very sorry to learn of your previous difficulties and to see that you have not received a response until now. However, I am pleased to inform you that we have a whole new management team at the practice and we are always seeking to improve services for the population we proudly serve. If you have any further issues, please don’t hesitate to contact our new Practice Manager at the surgery, namely Mr Shaun Chadwick. If you would like to play an active role at the practice, please feel free to contact reception to enquire about joining our patient participation group. Your views matter!
