I am delighted with the treatment my son received in the paediatric blood test department this morning. He has a needle phobia and right from speaking to this department to attending today the staff here are excellent, sensitive and caring! Well done again and many thanks

Thank you for your lovely comments regarding the Paediatric Department at Heartlands Hospital.

I'm so pleased to read that you felt the staff were fantastic with your son who has a needle phobia, and that everything was done to put your son at ease but also to obtain a blood sample without causing him any distress.

I will be delighted to ensure that your feedback is highlighted to the Phlebotomy Manager for Paediatrics, who I am sure will be thrilled to read your comments and ensure it is highlighted to staff who work very hard to look after our young patients.

I hope my actions are acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to provide your comments, patient and family feedback is very important to us.
