I attended the A&E department at end of november via ambulance service, the care I received was appalling, I saw one nurse spending most of the night shift sitting on a chair whilst their colleague was running around like a headless chicken trying to get everything done.
I got out of bed to go to the toilet in which a staff nurse grabbed my arm, pulled me back and said just stop being so difficult.
After asking 3 times to go to the toilet I got out of bed again however I ended uphaving a seizure (which I didn't know had happened) I was rushed into resus where I came round, I was very disorientated as I had no idea where I was, I had oxygen mask on, doctors and nurses around me and I felt very poorly. It was not explained when I came round what happened, I had to ask, in which I got told very rudely I had a seizure. This is first time i had a seizure so I was very worried I had no reassurance and then moved back into main A&E department without being told.On arriving back to A&E department I heard a nurse ask the nurse who was with me what I was doing there in a very rude manner. At this stage I just wanted to curl into a ball and cry. I never felt so humiliated. I had spent over 10 hours in A&E before finally being moved to CDU where staff were lovely.Once I was discharged I attended my Gp practice when I spoke about why I was taken to hospital my GP informed me that the discharged paper they had was different and therefore couldn't tell me what happened and why I was very upset that doctors didn't even send my GP correct notes. All in all an absolute disgrace
