"Cannot contact the surgery"

About: Balmoral Gardens

A nightmare to try to contact, this has been an ongoing problem for years.

The telephone system for the blue practice is hopeless.

e.g.

I have been ringing the blue practice today for 15 mins, I have made 37 calls on my mobile, every time I call it rings then goes on to the engaged tone, or it rings then cuts off.

It is a disgrace.

I tried ringing 01634 334900 but there is no reply, what use it that number to anyone?

If I complain nothing is done, I have spoken to the practice manager but nothing changes, because it seems to me nobody really cares.

We clearly just have to put up with it.

I now give up, I have made 67 calls and its 12.30.

The surgery is now closed and reopens at 2.30, I will likely have to drive to the surgery and speak to someone.

The telephone system that was installed at the blue practice is absolutely useless, I doubt anyone will ever own up to agreeing to install it.

When the centre opened it was deemed to be so up to date but I cannot even get through to make a doctors appointment.

In the rare event I get through I have the next hurdle of even getting an appointment.

I can go to the surgery, but for those who cannot I feel so sorry for them, the elderly and most vulnerable patients are suffering the most and it makes a huge negative impact on peoples health and life.

It is a serious problem that the practice manager, and many others higher up are aware of, but nobody wants to take responsibility or doing anything about it, not of course until someone comes to harm.

An elderly person for example has run out of medication, they cannot get through, live alone and are housebound.

This could result in a hospital admission or worse.

Only then, maybe, will someone address this problem.

Shame on you.
