"My husband"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Critical Care Royal Alexandra Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a relative),

My husband died, quite unexpectedly, in the High Dependency Unit at Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley. His care and treatment was exceptional, doctors and nurses keeping me and the family informed at all times. They, the staff, were all so compassionate at our time of need.

I, also, found the care of the IBD team very supportive of my husband. He was able to contact them if he had a problem and needed reassuring. Seth was, particularly, understanding.

I would like to thank them all very much.

Dear Subo

Thank you so much for sharing your experience after such a heart breaking time for you and your family following the sudden sad loss of your husband. Please accept my personal condolences.

I will share your very kind words with the team in HDU and with Seth who I am sure will be humbled to receive them. It will mean a lot to the staff to know they have made your final hours with your husband as comforting as possible.

If there is anything further I can assist with, please don't hesitate to contact me. My email address is Jacqueline.nicol@ggc.scot.nhs.uk.

Sending best wishes,

Jacqueline
