"Resident Cat!"

About: Welling Medical Practice

I could not believe my eyes when entering the surgery a while ago to see a cat walking around the surgery.

I thought that it was in there by mistake, but the staff were stroking and talking to it.

A few weeks later it was sitting on the ledge behind the glass in reception and no body was batting an eyelid, until one lady said that she could feel her throat tightening as she had a cat allergy!

I noticed that there is now a notice up saying not to let the cat in, but once again Welling Medical Practice do nothing until an emergency situation arises.

Disgusting and unhygienic.

Have their staff got no sense to let a cat into surgery in the first place!

This just about sums up how the surgery is being run at the moment!

In all fairness the Doctors were probably not aware, although the administration staff definitely were and obviously thought that this was acceptable.

The Practice Manager is definitely not doing her job in overseeing admin and hasn't been proactive in doing much else for a long time.
