"Colonoscopy 7/12/18"

I was very concerned about this procedure as really didn't know what to expect, but have to say that the staff all reassured me from the beginning and thoroughly explained the whole process, which really helped me.

I was really appreciative that I was given the option of sedation and was supported in the fact that I wanted to persue the colonoscopy without it.

I was told that if I needed extra pain relief during the procedure, then I could ask whilst the examination took place.

I managed without any sedation and both the consultant and the lovely nurses helped me through the whole thing.

I would like to thank all of the staff, the lovely nurse that did my consultation before the procedure and also my original consultant for their professionalism and the amount of care that they have provided to me throughout my referral.
