I visited the optician Specsavers in Bodmin for a routine eye test. They referred me through to doctor/consultant. Explained fat found on eye, typical symptom of diabetes - was aware, but didn't know. Had to chase 2nd appointment following 1st appointment in May 18, as was advised I needed a follow up check up in 3 months time. May appointment followed up optician check. Consultant wasn't concerned but but suggested 3 month appointment. After phoning, I was told I needed a photo taken of my eye, with a follow up booked for December 2018. No urgent nature.
Happy with how everything has been handled - treated with respect. Would know who to call if I needed any further info. I was seen on time for my appointment in May. The consultant made me feel at ease. Staff good but not good having to chase appointment as felt as if i had been left off the list.
"Treated with respect"
