"They still had time to show care and attention"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery (Wards 16-18)

(as a service user),

I was taken to A&E at UHWishaw and looked after by caring staff in A&E and ECU until a bed was available. I would like to thank Dr Lottie, for her input and ability in trying to find a reason for my illness. Her manner was excellent.

On reaching wd 7, I was impressed, that no matter how busy they were, they still had time to show care and attention. I would particularly like to mention Agnes, the clinical support worker who was just amazing. I've never seen anyone work as hard as her. Although the local and National press are quick to criticise the NHS and it's staff, I have nothing but praise for them.

Thank you :)

Dear DBH,

I would like to thank you for taking the chance to post your experience of the ED, ECU and ward 7.

I am delighted that you found Dr Lottie had such an excellent manner and will ensure this is fed back to her.

It terms of ward 7 I will ensure your kind words are communicated back to the team and am sure they will be really pleased with your positive comments particularly the staff you have named personally.

I hope this finds you well and feeling better.

Best wishes

Andy
