At the beginning this service seemed to offer a lifeline but in the end our daughter went from one service to another for reasons which didn’t seem clinically led. Family therapy stopped due to the therapist leaving, the proposed number of CBT sessions were reduced by half, despite asking for the promised discharge reports we received none. We were also asured that our daughter turning 18 wouldn’t have an immediate impact on her treatment but the very next month we were told she was being transferred to adult services.
Lots of well intentioned people I’m sure but we didn’t see skilled management of an eating disorder. Our daughter has made no progress.
"Disappointing"
