"How amazing NHS staff are."

About: Ninewells Hospital / Accident & Emergency Ninewells Hospital / General Surgery Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

I was rushed into Ninewells Hospital after having an accident while go-karting. From the first paramedics that came to the track to the last porter & every other nurse & doctor inbetween everyone was so lovely & caring. I felt so at ease even when I was suffering greatly. Nothing was any hassle to any of the staff. We are so lucky in this country to have the NHS. I was looked after so quickly & everything was explained to me along the way. Just amazing!

Dear Racergal,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on CareOpinion. I am sorry to hear that you had the need to use our services and that of the Emergency Department at Ninewells but very pleased to read that all involved left such a lovely impression.

If you would like I can make efforts to trace the crew that attended you and pass on your lovely comments. In order to do this I will need a couple of details, specifically the date, time and location of the incident as well as your name. If you would like me to do this you can email me at alan.martin2@nhs.net. If you would be so kind as to make reference to your CareOpinion username in the email it makes it easier to trace back.

I wish you all the very best!

Kind Regards

Alan

Update posted by Racergal (the patient)

I would especially like to thank Dr Mike & Nurse Kirsty in ED as they were so caring & got my banter. They tried so hard to get me home same day but my injury was just too severe.
