"Can’t thank the staff enough - amazing service..."

I have recently been staying at the hospital with my 15 month old daughter for 4 days as she fell unwell and I honestly cannot thank the staff enough. I actually feel really emotional thinking about how amazing all the Dr’s and Nurses were and only have positive things to say. I see how hard they all work and how stretched the NHS is but have so much admiration for each and every staff member we encountered.

This is the second time my baby daughter needed to stay in Cramlington hospital (first time was a year ago October 2017 when she fell really poorly) and again the service we received was amazing. We felt looked after, received the relevant medication to get my daughter back to good health and were always kept well informed about what was going on.

I was so grateful we were moved from the ward to a side room on the third night and really appreciated having a bed to sleep on. The rooms are very spacious, clean and private and it was also no trouble being on the ward two days prior to this. I was just grateful that my daughter was in safe hands and had this service available to her.

Facilities are great and the vibe in the children’s ward was very calm which I think is due to the lovely, friendly staff.

Thank you so much for all the care you gave to our daughter. I am yet again reminded how blessed we are to have the NHS and this is something I will never take for granted.

Your poor daughter, I am sorry to read that she has been unwell and has needed to stay with us on two occasions.

It is reassuring to read that your daughter has received consistent care with us and she is now back to good health after receiving the relevant medication. As a mother myself I appreciate how important and cherished our children’s services are. It will be a pleasure to share your review with the team who helped care for your daughter – thank you for finding the time to share it with us today.
