"Correct diagnosis at the walk in centre helped my daughter"

About: Knowsley NHS Walk-in Centre, Kirkby

(as a relative),

My daughter had stomach ache on and off for two days when I took her to our Walk in Centre in Knowsley.

The nurse examined her and felt that she had an appendicitis and advised me to go to hospital as soon as possible.

She was admitted to Alder Hey and had her appendix removed on Sunday - the diagnosis from the nurse was correct and without this my daughter would have been very poorly indeed.

I am so grateful to the nurse who helped my daughter, she was so lovely and her advice was accurate.
