"Emergency evaluation"

About: Birmingham Midland Eye Centre (Bmec)

Our initial interaction with the receptionist set the tone for the visit. She was efficient, friendly, courteous and professional.

The nurse continued with the same professionalism during the initial assessment. After a short wait we were see by the doctor who quickly put me at my ease, explaining in detail the examination, which was very thorough, after which she explained what she had seen putting my mind at rest regarding what she had found. The whole visit was finished off with a referral letter to my GP and a very warm handshake from the doctor. Attending any hospital in an emergency is never going to be a stress free event but well done to all you staff for making mind go as well as it did. The NHS at its best.
