Always friendly caring staff. Slight delay in getting an appointment but to be fair they are looking at changing their system. A long wait to speak to someone sometimes 10 minutes plus. They could do with more emergency appointments on the day. Maybe an express ear syringing service also as it's awful when your ears are blocked and you have to wait a week for an appointment.....on balance a great practice that i would recommend to anyone in the area.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for these comments, we appreciate all feedback both positive and negative as a way to improve our service. We now record all inbound calls so are able to quickly pinpoint any delays in waiting times. Of course during our peak times such as Monday mornings there may be longer delays than usual, but if this continues to be an issue, please let us know when your call has been answered and we will investigate this for you.

Thank you for the comments regarding an ear syringing service, this is something we would certainly consider. We are hoping to add some additional services over the next few months - so keep an eye out! We also have a Patient Participation Group at The Light Surgery - an active group of volunteer patients who meet regularly with staff from the practice to provide views from a patient's perspective. We are holding our next meeting on the 14th March and would love if you could attend to share your views. Please speak to reception for more information and let us know if you are able to attend.
